As Regional Director for Mason Enterprise Center programs in Loudoun County, Henson runs the MEC-Loudoun incubator and oversees the SBDC program in Loudoun, leading a team of high-performing professionals. She reaches broadly into the community to market MEC programs, to forge partnerships, to make connections to Mason and to engage with stakeholders and potential sponsors.

Henson brings to the MEC over twenty-five years of experience in innovative program development, tactical business advising, training, human resources, customer service, operations, retail management and apparel manufacturing. Including work at the Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Centers in Kansas City and serving on the faculty at the University of Missouri in Columbia as the Coordinator of the Missouri Textile & Apparel Center. She grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia and is an alumnus of Virginia Tech University, in Blacksburg, Virginia for both her M.S. and B.S. degrees.
